Last night as I was coaching a soccer camp from 3:30-8:30PM I was thinking about how great it would be to go home and have a glass of wine, or a nice ale. This has become habitual for me over the last 8 months to put my crazy day behind me and be comforted by a wonderfully crafted beer or wine.
But one strategy that... actually becomes three strategies is:
Limit the amount of days per week that I allow myself to drink beer or wine
Be disciplined
Live in moderation
So when I lost those 35 pounds, I only allowed myself to drink alchohol four days per week.
And... instead of drinking mostly beer, I drank more red wine. Two reasons, I drank less and wine has less calories.
