One advantage I had when I lost 35 pounds was that I went to a Tony Robbins, Unleash the Power Within event, and they deprived us of food. They highly recommend bringing snacks and water. The first day, lunch was at 2pm, second day 4pm, third day 6pm, last day (health day) no food break.
The point was multifaceted. 1. to show you how long you can go without food. 2. Attendees need max energy at these events, so we don't get to go out and eat fried chicken and come back to the room and sleep. 3. Your body cleanses. and there are other reasons.
This said to me... the less I eat, the more energy I have. Eat less portions, eat more often. Don't ever deprive your body of the fuel it needs.
When I eat, I ask myself, "what energy value does this have?"
So let's get to raiding the fridge.....
As soon I get in the house, I go to the fridge. It's like Pavlov's dogs, open the front door, then think about what I can eat in the fridge. Like a man possessed.
Which is really strange, because when I was at a Wealth Mastery event and I only ate the basic vegetables, and never had that raid the fridge frenzy.
Have healthy foods that you can raid the fridge with. Chips and guacamole or homemade salsa, pita chips and hummus. The food must have great substance like really crunchy. Chow down and enjoy.
